Welcome to the Dünenbad spa in the ****Strandhotel at Weissenhäuser Strand located directly on the coast of the Baltic Sea.
Recharge your batteries in our relaxing Dünenbad. Look forward to our wide range of wellness and fitness facilities. Take your time to indulge in our spacious sauna area, and fully enjoy our swimming pools and the soothing steam bath. Inhale essential oils while the hot steam caresses your skin.
The two pools in the Dünenbad with a water depth of 1.30 m provide maximum bathing comfort at 30° Celsius. The large whirlpool is particularly popular. A herbal sauna, a steam bath, an ice fountain and a sanarium with light effects and soft music are waiting for you. Our Finnish sauna with a temperature of 90° Celsius and aromatic infusions is a special highlight. In addition, the sauna area has a solarium, a relaxation room and a lounge with a fireplace.
We offer a well-equipped fitness area and a variety of courses for fitness enthusiasts. Our professionally trained trainers and coaches support you in getting the most out of your training.
In our beauty salon Strandhotel Beauty in the Dünenbad we offer everything to relax and harmonise body and mind ranging from wellness treatments, exclusive baths and pampering packages to Lomi Lomi Nui massages as well as classic manicure and pedicure. An individually tailored make-up following your treatment adds a final touch to your wellness programme. Your well-being and beauty are as individual as you are. That's why you can of course also put together your very own personal wellness and beauty package. Simply select the desired individual treatments; our staff at the Dünenbad reception in the ****Strandhotel will be happy to advise you.
We will be happy to serve you a delicious relaxation tea between sauna sessions, massages and Lomi Lomi Nui before you continue your wellness journey.
When you feel like having a small snack we have delicious treats waiting for you in our galley. The bistro is directly connected to the Dünenbad and will spoil you with tasty food and drinks.

Strong back
As the core of our bodies, our back is responsible for providing strength, rest, and stability. In this course, you will perform effective strengthening exercises for the torso muscles as well as for providing more stability to the back.
Spine-strengthening exercises
Spine-strengthening exercises are the perfect way to prevent everyday back pain. The strain on the spine is decreased by performing exercises that support the spine’s range of motion as well as simultaneously strengthen the torso muscles. This will help you attain a physical balance.
Yoga stretching
Yoga is about finding the inner balance between body and mind. Smooth and flowing movements are combined to engage in basic yoga poses such as the “sun salutation pose.” By holding in one position for a longer period of time – and by using the correct breathing methods – yoga stretching provides a pleasant introduction to the flexibility of yoga. This course is particularly suited for beginners.
Aqua aerobics and aqua fitness
From gentle aqua aerobics to the more intense aqua fitness, this course will train your stamina and muscle strength. The course begins with a warm-up phase followed by active, moderate strength training and pleasant, relaxed stretching. The course is accompanied by rhythmic music that ranges from favourites of the 1960s to today’s hits.

- Use of the swimming pool for persons under the age of 16 only when accompanied by a parent
- Family sauna is open daily from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- After 3:00 p.m. the sauna is only opened to guests over the age of 18
- Use of the fitness room for persons aged 16 or older; guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent
